These will inhibit one or both of the lungs and their ability to function properly. It is possible to treat this condition, but it can spread and develop into stages that are difficult to manage.
This type of cancer has four different types. It is more common among women, but it can affect men as well. Fortunately, this disease has a high survivability rate. In most cases, the oncologist will treat it with a dose of radioactive iodine. Surgery is often necessary to remove tumors in the neck.
